What are some things that you will implement ( or have already implemented) and/or do differently regarding your interactions with children and/or adults resulting from your understanding of Payne's framework?
The one thing that I will implement is the "The Adult Voice" with all my students. The adult voice can be "non-judgmental, free of negative non-verbal, factual, often in question format, attitude of win-win."(Payne) I think sometimes teachers (myself included) feel they need to use an authoritative voice all of the time. I feel using adult voice strategies promotes maturity and empowerment within a student. I want to be the teacher that empowers students to the maximize thier potential.
